How CryptoHeat Works

A centralized market-data layer maintains a single streaming connection to live exchange ticker data covering hundreds of trading pairs, rather than each visitor's browser connecting individually. That data is normalized, merged with a periodically refreshed reference dataset for market capitalization, and pushed to the interface. If the live connection drops, the app automatically retries with backoff and falls back to periodic polling — and always tells you which mode you're in via the status indicator in the header.

Rankings (gainers, losers, trending) and the heatmap layout are recomputed on a short interval rather than on every single price tick, which keeps the interface smooth even during high market activity.
