About GHO

GHO: Aave-native credit in stablecoin form

Issued through Aave, not a bank account

GHO is Aave’s decentralized, overcollateralized USD stablecoin. Users can borrow it against supported collateral, and Aave governance controls important risk and rate parameters.

Protocol revenue is built into the design

Interest paid by GHO borrowers flows to the Aave DAO rather than to a traditional deposit issuer. That connects GHO growth to Aave’s lending system and makes governance decisions economically relevant.

Peg tools and collateral quality

Research GHO through its peg, collateral backing, facilitator or supply mechanisms, savings features and liquidity. A stablecoin can hold a tight price while its underlying risk mix changes, so the protocol state matters as much as the quote.

Research note: Verify material project, token, governance and supply changes with primary documentation; live market figures can change independently of this profile.
