Execution and collateral define the product
For a perpetual DEX, leverage limits, oracle design, liquidation engines, collateral choices and chain deployment shape risk. Those mechanics should be checked before interpreting ASTER incentives as durable demand.
Token-level checks
Separate exchange usage from ASTER emissions, unlocks, governance and fee-related policies. High reported volume can coexist with incentive-heavy activity, so fee generation and repeat users provide useful context.
